MSI to launch Rs.13999 tablets

Taiwan's MSI is going to launch tablets worth Rs. 15000 in India. They are going to launch two types of tablets. The 7 inch will cost Rs.13999 and the 10 inch will cost Rs.14999. It contains 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM and it is an Android based tablet. Some of its features are:
Adobe flash 10.1
Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS
Multi touch
wi-fi
bluetooth 2.1
4 GB internal memory
MicroSD card and supports upto 32 GB
Dual 2 Megapixel camera
The tablets are called MSI Windpad Enjoy 10 and Enjoy 7. It doesn't have 3G and GPS as the MSI manager said: " Our products do not have features like 3G and GPS because we do not see enough market for 3G and GPS in India". The battery life is 4 to 5 hours.

ViewSonic ViewBook is 7 inch(800*480 resolution) android tablet which runs in android Operating system. Its one among cheapest android tablets in the market. It includes 8 GB of storage, MicroSD expansion plot and 1 GHz processor.

New plans of LG mobile

LG India plans to increase its market by launching Android based mobile phones and new laptops and tablets.
LG plans to launch a record of 45 new mobile phones including 30 smartphones in india this year. They are targeting different segments like entry level smartphones, dual sim, fashion conscious.
They target atleast 10 to 12 % of market and overtake samsung, which is in second place now. Let's wait and watch.

NOKIA IS GOING TO LAUNCH TABLET

Nokia is going to join the growing demand market of tablet, according to Stephen Elop, CEO of Nokia Corp. He stated that nokia is going to design a unique tablet.
Their are now over 200 different tablets in the market. Nokia tablets may change the entire market. They dont wanna be 201th tablet. They got number of options for the tablet. They can build a windows software based tablet or can use their own software assets. Although Mr Elop stated that they dropped symbian. That will certainly mean that they can either use windows or MeeGo for their tablet. According to the statement by Mr Elop it looks like Nokia will develop something unique. Lets see how they are going to challenge giants like apple and android.
